STORY | I stumbled upon this canister makers shop in the neighborhood we were staying in Tokyo. They make canisters of copper, brass and tin, in varying sizes.
I packed back just enough for my own kitchen and a couple to offer through Salinity. If you like these, I'll definitely be getting more in various sizes and materials.
I prefer aged copper to new copper. Over the years, this will become an heirloom pieces, the copper will deepen in color and develop a gorgeous, rich patina.
MAKER | Produced by SyuRo, a maker company in Tokyo, Japan, named after the Japanese term for "palm tree," having leaves spread open wide much like welcoming hands.
